About Bee's

I have always loved to bake and was fortunate to learn about pastry from my Grandpa at an early age. My adorable grandparents actually met thanks to food -- my Grandpa worked at my Grandma's family bakery -- and so I feel it is appropriate that I'm now pursuing a career in pastry.

I am from New Vernon, New Jersey. I majored in Economics at Yale University, where I also played field hockey. After college, I moved to New York where I worked in financial services for 4 years. In 2010, I left finance to attend culinary school, as I grew up cooking and baking with my family and have always loved being in the kitchen. I graduated with distinction from The French Culinary Institute's Pastry Arts program and plan to open a bake shop in the future.

I serve on the Founder's Circle of UNICEF's Next Generation, a wonderful organization that works to provide children with health care, clean water, education, nutrition, and emergency relief. 5% of all Bee's Bake Shop profits will go to UNICEF to improve the lives of children around the world.
